Mini Getaway metal print by Andrew Paranavitana. Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. This is a hotel somewhere in the Cappadocia region of Turkey. I snapped this up while in a hot air balloon, drifting over the volcanic formations and streetscapes.
It's been a long time since I have been able to use the miniaturisation processing technique in Photoshop, so this proved to be a lot of fun to edit!

My work often takes two avenues of theme: a darker, sometimes scary world of unseen nightmares, and a nostalgic playground of warm memories, much safer and happier than the former. I have always looked further than traditional methods of photography. Digital manipulation has allowed me to communicate and share my view of the world.
